Which hits first?

Does the slinky defy the laws of gravity when it falls? Do a comparison drop with a weight to determine if the slinky is falling at the same rate as gravity predicts. We then do a hand written tutorial looking at how the force of gravity and the tension force from the spring contribute to the observed phenomena and reconcile our experimental results with newtons laws.
