What’s Salting Out?
Salting out is a cool chemistry trick where we use salt to separate different substances in a solution. By adding salt, we change the solubility of compounds, making them "salt out" of the solution. It’s like magic, but with science!
Materials Needed:
1) 50% isopropyl alcohol (the stuff you use to clean wounds, but make sure it’s diluted!)
2) Sodium chloride (yep, your kitchen table salt)
3) A clear container or beaker
4) Stirring rod or spoon
Steps:
1) Add a generous amount of sodium chloride. Don’t be shy—more salt, more fun! 🧂
2) Pour your 50% isopropyl alcohol into the container. 🧴

What to Watch For:
