In Try not to flinch we will examine reaction rates and how the temperature of a reaction changes the speed at which a reaction occurs. Sometimes reactions happen surprisingly fast, while at other times the same reaction seems to happen very slowly. The whoosh bottle is a great example of an experiment that has changing reaction conditions each time you light it that lead to different temperature the reaction occurs at, as well as different concentrations of reactants and products in the initial reaction.
